Join the Ryuei Culture Association
There are two distinct ways to take part in the Ryuei Culture Association.
As Members, who support our work and learn alongside us. As Partners & Collaborators — scholars, descendants of samurai families, and the heads and masters of cultural schools — with whom we extend the culture together. The roles differ; we hold both in equal respect, as companions on the same path.
All take part in supporting and learning alongside the association; no voting rights are attached. The information you provide is used only to discuss, review and respond to your application. Fees and partnership terms are announced in stages; only confirmed ones are shown here.
For the Samurai-Lineage category, we begin by hearing about your family's story and then, respectfully, discuss confirming it together — a family tree, oral traditions, or heirlooms, as far as you have them. There is no need to send sensitive documents such as family registers through this public form (if needed, we will guide you separately and securely during the application). If confirmation proves difficult, you are equally welcome as a Cultural or Supporting member.
Cultural, Supporting, Corporate and Junior Members can apply directly via this form.
Academic, Samurai-Lineage and School & Master Members are by self-declaration or introduction — please choose "I'd like to discuss" to contact us.
