1. General

These Terms govern your use of ryueiculture.com ("the Site") operated by the Ryūei Culture Association ("we"). The system for the Site is operated by our partner Edo Tokugawa Design Co., Ltd. ("ETD"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

The Site offers information, guidance on the membership system, and updates on activities concerning the research, inheritance and practice of samurai culture. Membership categories, fees and benefits are listed on the Membership page and related pages.

3. Membership Application & Approval

Membership applications are accepted via the forms on the Site. For categories requiring family-history confirmation (e.g. Samurai-Lineage Member), we may request additional confirmation through private channels. We reserve the right to approve or decline applications at our discretion.

4. Prohibited Conduct

• Applying or registering with false information
• Unauthorized use, attacks, or tampering of the Site
• Harassing other participants or related persons
• Unauthorized recording or redistribution of our activities or those of partner schools
• Acts that violate laws or public order

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Site's content (text, images, video, data, etc.) belong to us, ETD, or their respective rights holders. Reproduction, redistribution or modification beyond personal use is prohibited.

6. Disclaimer

We and ETD do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the Site's content. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Changes and Suspension

We and ETD may change the Site's content or operating policy as needed. We will provide advance notice for significant changes.

8. Changes to Terms

We and ETD may revise these Terms as needed. Revised Terms take effect upon publication on this page.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

10. Common Application Across ETD-Operated Services

In addition to the Site, ETD operates sister services such as Ryūei Bunka Narai (narai.ryueiculture.com). These run on a shared authentication infrastructure (Supabase accounts), and user registration information (name, email, membership category, etc.) is managed in common across the related services operated by ETD.

Your agreement to these Terms applies equally to the common handling across the related ETD services above (use under a shared account, common communications, etc.). Service-specific terms, pricing and cancellation conditions are stated on each service's pages.
